Yes, you can get a painting commissioned. I am mostly juggling between creating commissioned artworks for my collectors and artwork for my studio throughout the year. since I receive frequent commission requests, sometimes I am unable to accept more than what I've already got. Once I know what size canvas you want and have received your deposit, the fun begins in my studio! Please note that if I don’t have the canvas size that you have requested in stock, I must order it, which can take up to 2 weeks or so, as they are custom built, and timing depends on my supplier’s production schedule.
A minimum size that I am comfortable painting on is 4 feet by 4 feet. I do not take commissions for size smaller than this.
You share with me what you are looking for: colour palette and style. It is helpful if you can share 1 or 2 paintings of mine that inspire you. Please note that I will never create an exact copy of an existing painting, as I don’t think it’s fair to the existing collectors, and besides, wouldn’t you want your very own, unique painting?
I send you photos of the painting once I feel like the work is complete (or close to complete).
Once you are happy with the result, you pay the remain.
This depends on my schedule at the time of the order, how large the commissioned piece is, and how many iterations the commissioned artwork requires. While it is on a case-by-case basis, you should normally expect anywhere between 3 and 8 weeks to complete.
We usually ship paintings by commercial courier, but sometimes, if local, we can deliver artworks in person or you can schedule a studio pick up.
Once you fill out the inquiry form and provide your email and query for a commissioned painting or an original, we will get back to asap with all the details. This includes an estimate of the shipping + packaging charges that will be based on the size of the painting and your state/area/country/region.
There is an international shipping & packaging fee for paintings being shipped outside of India. We determine the cost of shipping based on the least expensive option, usually air transport.
